1. Role of BOTA

BOTA Purple Beehive operates as a Sovereign Bridge between Bees (guests) and Honeycombs (hotels). BOTA is NOT a merchant of record, NOT a payment processor, and does NOT take custody of guest funds. Booking commitments are direct between the Bee and the hotel.

2. The Soft-Lock

When a Bee initiates a booking, the room is reserved for 15 minutes. If the Bee does not complete direct settlement within that window, the lock expires and the room returns to inventory. No charge is made by BOTA at any stage.

3. Fidelity Guarantee

Where a hotel publishes a room as "Exact Unit Verified" with the gold-shield badge, BOTA records a 5% credit-back commitment at lock time. The credit is honoured by the hotel if the delivered room materially differs from the advertised metadata.

4. Acceptable Use

Automated scraping, bulk inventory enumeration, and any attempt to bypass the visibility tiers (Bee / B+ / Ultra Bee) are prohibited. The Demand Intelligence layer detects such activity and may rate-limit or terminate the offending session.

5. Governing Law

MVP deployment targets the UAE market. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates pending regional expansion review.
